Guided Tissue Bone Regeneration

Guided tissue bone regeneration regenerates the previously lost gum and bone tissue. Most techniques utilize membranes that are inserted over the bone defects. Some of these membranes are bio-absorbable and some require removal. Other regenerative procedures involve the use of bioactive gels.

Dr. Holpuch is up to date on all the latest materials and technology used for bone grafting procedures.  He utilizes a variety of materials to optimize the result and to give you the patient, choices for what is right for you.  In some cases bone can be harvested  from you in another site (autograft).  In cases where this is not preferred or there is not enough bone present to do so, bone from outside sources can be utilized.  Some bone grafting products are synthetically made while others are derived from bovine sources or human sources.  Dr. Holpuch uses materials such as Bio-Oss, Puros, and Allograft material from MTF.  All of the bone grafting material that Dr. Holpuch uses is certified by various agencies for purity and undergoes a rigorous sterilization process.
